The Trevor Project is working to build a safer, more inclusive world for LGBTQ+ young people. This guide to being an ally serves as an introductory educational resource that covers topics and best practices on how to support transgender and nonbinary young people.


Solutions Not Punishment Collaborative (SNaP Co) is a social justice organization focused on building wellness and the political power of Black and TLGBQ+ folks in Atlanta, but plenty of the content found in this PDF is accessible and applicable for a more in-depth understanding that goes beyond visibility.


This toolkit from Advocates for Youth recommends for creating safer spaces for LGBTQ+ youth, highlights challenges that might be experienced, and talks about the existing disparities in order to provide more comprehensive, competent, evidence-based care and support to the queer community.
