In 2008, Dina was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, where she continues to serve on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and the Foreign Affairs Committee. Working-Class Roots and Commitment to Education
Born to a working-class family in Canton, Ohio, Susie learned the values of hard work and perseverance early on. With eight siblings, she worked a paper route at the age of eight and saw firsthand the struggles of a working-class family. Her father was a military veteran who worked at a steel plant, and her mother took care of the family at home. After earning scholarships and working part-time jobs, Susie Lee graduated from Carnegie Mellon University.
After moving to Las Vegas in 1993, Susie Lee became the Founding Director of After-School All-Stars and later served as President of Communities In Schools (CIS) of Nevada. Under her leadership, CIS grew to serve over 64,000 students in 63 schools across the state. As a Congresswoman, she continues to fight for education and opportunities for Nevada’s students.
Susie lives in Nevada with her two children, enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, skiing, and boating.

Mike Levin is deeply committed to the people of South Orange County, where he was raised by a Mexican-American mother and a Jewish-American father. He attended public schools in South Orange County and later graduated from Loyola High School in Los Angeles. Mike earned his degree from Stanford University, where he served as student body president, and later attended Duke University School of Law after completing the Coro Fellows Program.

Mike Levin’s professional career has been defined by his passion for environmental justice and clean energy. As an attorney, he specialized in environmental and energy regulatory compliance, working to accelerate the nation’s transition to sustainable power and transportation. He served on the board of the Center for Sustainable Energy and co-founded Sustain OC in Orange County. Mike’s dedication to climate action led him to become a leader on clean energy policy in Congress, where he serves on the House Natural Resources Committee and the Select Committee on the Climate Crisis. He has introduced legislation aimed at transitioning the U.S. to zero-emission vehicles, expanding renewable energy, and preventing future offshore oil drilling.

In addition to his environmental work, Mike Levin is also a fierce advocate for veterans. He serves on the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee, leading efforts to improve veterans’ housing, employment, and benefits programs. Joe Kerr is a second-generation firefighter who dedicated 34 years of service as a Fire Captain with the Orange County Fire Authority. As the first President of the Orange County Professional Firefighters Association, a role he held for 17 years, Joe has been a relentless advocate for firefighters and first responders. He has also served as Vice President of the California Professional Firefighters and the Orange County Central Labor Council (AFL-CIO). Over his career, Joe has responded to nearly every major disaster in Orange County, demonstrating his deep commitment to public safety and service.
Getting Things Done
As a labor leader, Joe successfully advocated for the passage of over 200 bills and initiatives signed into law by five governors and two presidents. These laws tackled critical issues such as public safety, climate change, and workers’ rights. When first responders needed a new healthcare system, Joe took the lead in creating one that improved benefits and reduced costs without raising taxes. His leadership also extended to balancing the Orange County Fire Authority’s $500 million annual budget for three consecutive years, and securing the refund of $600 million in Vehicle License Fees to Orange County taxpayers. Joe’s proven ability to solve complex issues makes him well-prepared to take on national challenges in Congress.
A Decorated Firefighter
Joe Kerr’s career as a firefighter is marked by numerous accolades. He was named Fireman of the Year by the Cypress Fire Department in 1979, Overachiever of the Year by the Orange County Firemen’s Association in 1984, and Fire Captain of the Year in 1986. Notably, Joe received a Certificate of Merit from the Orange County Board of Supervisors for his role in responding to the 1981 Air California jetliner crash at John Wayne Airport. In 1999, he was awarded the Courage Under Fire Award for rescuing and reviving a non-breathing occupant trapped in a fire. Even after retirement, Joe’s commitment to public safety continued, earning him recognition for saving a baby from drowning in 2012.

Meet Ashley Ehasz
Ashley Ehasz is a U.S. Army veteran, former Apache helicopter pilot, and proud native of Southeastern Pennsylvania. At 17, she joined the Army to pursue an affordable education and seize the opportunity to serve her country. The military gave her the structure and security she sought after growing up with challenges at home. If elected, Ashley would be the first woman in Congress to have graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, marking another milestone in her path of public service.
A Life Built on Overcoming Challenges
Growing up, Ashley faced many hardships, including mental health issues, substance abuse, and financial instability within her family. These difficulties led to frequent moves, instilling in her a deep desire for stability. After the tragic events of September 11th, Ashley felt a strong call to serve, joining the Army immediately after high school. She became the only woman in her class to graduate as an Apache helicopter pilot, deploying to Kuwait and Iraq under operations Spartan Shield and Inherent Resolve. Her leadership continued as a Captain, commanding aviation troops and serving in South Korea.

After leaving the military, Ashley earned a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford through the G.I. Bill. She has worked as a policy writer, project coordinator, and government consultant, tackling issues like pandemic relief through the CARES Act. Adam Frisch is a Western Slope business owner, family man, former city council member, and candidate for Colorado’s 3rd congressional district. Understanding rural Colorado communities, Adam has driven over 50,000 miles visiting every county in the district. He is committed to promoting Colorado water, energy, and jobs.
Adam Frisch’s Personal Background
Adam’s early years were spent on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in Montana, where his father worked as a doctor. He grew up working on his family’s 4th generation cattle trading, grain elevator, and farm supply store. Adam graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in economics and later worked in international finance, gaining experience in global economies and interest rates.
Rural Roots and Experience
Having worked on his family’s farm, Adam understands the needs of rural, working-class Americans, often overlooked by Washington decision-makers. His firsthand experiences of extremism, being in the World Trade Center during the 1993 bombing and working in Manhattan during 9/11, shaped his views on the dangers of extremism.
Public Service
Adam began his public service as the chair of Pitkin County’s Financial Advisory Board from 2005 to 2011. From 2011 to 2019, he served on his local City Council, focusing on affordable housing and supporting small businesses. Known as a problem solver and consensus builder, Adam also became a part-time substitute teacher during COVID-19 to support local education.
