Her journey has been about turning setbacks into opportunities, and she believes Iowa can do the same. Sarah is running because she knows Iowa can be better—more focused on people and less on politics. Fighting for Iowa’s Future

As a mother of three, Sarah is passionate about ensuring a bright future for the next generation. Sarah’s personal experience as the parent of a child with a disability led her to raise over $1 million to build an accessible park in Cedar Falls, ensuring that all children feel included and valued. Her healthcare advocacy extends to the national level—her opponent, Ashley Hinson, shifted her stance on breast cancer legislation the very day Sarah launched her campaign, showing the impact of her leadership before she’s even reached Washington.

A Grassroots Campaign for Change

Sarah’s campaign is about health, families, and communities. She understands the struggles Iowans face in systems that often don’t work for them, and she’s running to bring real, lasting change to Washington. Leading a grassroots movement, Sarah is focused on protecting Iowa’s most valuable resources. She believes Congress should prioritize its citizens over political games, focusing on the real needs of everyday people. Her campaign is driven by six core values: authenticity, respect, community, passion, resilience, and joy. Sarah is committed to finding common ground and putting aside political infighting to create a government that truly works for the people. This is about voters standing up for what unites us, not divides us, and building a stronger future for Iowa together.
